i already have this one on blu but does'nt satisfy me at all , i hope this remake will fix the dark scenes and the audio quality

Probably the most overlooked movie of 2007. Can't wait! Hopefully they keep the cover art from the HD-DVD/special ed. DVD.

First Fincher on Blu-ray! Hosanna!

This is a definite preorder as soon as Paramount confirms lossless audio, which they will, as they're not Warner.

Also, would it be too much to ask for the envelope cover (which is so great) as a slipcase, with the Chris Evans one-sheet as the actual cover in the Blu-ray case?

Mr. Evans has been a wonderful matte painter for ages, and he and Matte World did a superb job for this film. I'd really love to have their work represent Zodiac, if at all possible. Thanks for listening, Paramount!

I'm with you. This is, IMO, Fincher's deepest film and it deserves the royal treatment on Blu-Ray. January can't get here fast enough.

Don't worry about lossless audio as this is a Paramount release. What I'm wondering is will we get anything new that wasn't on the HD DVD. I hope so but I doubt Paramount is going to sink a ton of money into a catalog title that has already seen a HD release.

it also doesn't seem like there's much more for them to add. lots of features.

I blind bought the sdvd and it turned out to be a good choice. I will buy the BD version for sure.
