Default Soby BDP S500 internal decoding of DTS HD Master Audio

Hello guys. Need some professionl advice regarding internal decoding. Does the Sony BDP S500 internally decodes DTS HD or DTS HD Master Audio thru LPCM/Multi Channel output. I have an old Pre amp Processor which does not support HDMI and I think that using the Multi Channel input is still the best way to enjoy the new audio formats esp the DTS HD and DTS HD master audio. If the BDP s500 does not internally decode what other product does the trick? Thanks Blu Men.

The S500 decodes TrueHD, DD+, and DTS-HD HRA, but not dts-MA. The Panasonic BD55 will do them all (it's due out later this month). The BD50 does too, although it's discontinued, hard to find, and more expensive than the BD55. The Sony S550, which is just starting to ship, appears to include dts-MA decoding for output over analog. At the high end, you can get the Denon 3800BDCI and Marantz BDP-8002 for $1,500-$2,000.

I have the S500 and nope it does not decode DTS-HD MA,I was under the impression that it did when I got it last year,I was pretty POed when I got my new AVR and it would not give me the new DTS format, but I use the PCM option when I watch a DTS-hd ma movie and I'm pretty sure I am getting LPCM,it sounds good at least ,I am definetly buying the S550 once I have enough $ to blow
