I've a Panasonic DMP-BD10 that I have connected to a Pioneer VSXAX4ASiS AVR via HDMI and composite video cable, which is connected to a Grundig analogue CRT via a composite video cable. The BD10 happily plays DVDs; the AVR automatically recognises the audio; the CRT displays the video in colour. But when I try to play Blu-ray movies, I get audio, but only a black and white image. Would composite video help, or is the problem that the analogue CRT is is incompatiable with the HD signal? What am I doing wrong?
