Default Ordered an Onkyo

Hey guys I just ordered my Onkyo TX-SR605

To go along with my Blu-Ray experience I watch on the Sony PlayStation 3 I am in a small room so I was not planning on buying huge speakers but I was thinking on something along the lines like these

a couple of sony ss-b1000's (4 of them) and for my center piece I was thinking ss-cn5000 and for the sub sa-w2500

Now is there anything I'm missing is there wires I should order this is going to be a first for me

Thanks

Cool set up I used to have the sony ss-b1000s as my fronts then my surrounds they where really good especially for 40 bucks. Most people here would definitely recomend this site for all your wires and interconnects http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp

Congrats. I have the same receiver and love it. I also recently upgraded my speakers to a set of Polks. You can get em fairly cheap. I got my set(5.1)at frys.com for 199.00

awesome mono price looks like a great website

I believe I should be ordering a HDMI cord for the receiver to plug to my TV correct and should that be it?

Sorry for all the questions I just want to be well prepared

Actually you need hdmi from ps3 to the onkyo then hdmi from the onkyo to the tv so you can get hidef audio.Don't forget speaker wire 12 or 14 gauge and a sub woofer/rca cable.Enjoy

I love my Onkyo 605. I used to be a big Yamaha fan (still am) but was very impressed when I upgraded to the 605.

Uncompressed PCM, DTS-MA, and DD TrueHD are awesome!

My only complaint would be that the 605 model with my 7.1 setup I can't matrix 5.1 to 7.1, but I don't mind listening to 5.1 in 5.1 which is what it's meant for anyways I guess.
