Problems Downloading in Background - Blu-ray Forum

So recently, our Playstation has been having problems every time we try to download something in Background. Always Displaying this Message:

An error occurred buring the download operation. (F0455357)

Checking around online, this isn't very uncommon, but nobody seems to have a solution. You all seem to be very educated on subjects like these. Anybody care to help me out?

I believe that is just a "generic" download failed error message. Probably most likely due to an unstable connection / connection interrupt. How reliable is your internet there?

ive been having a similar problem.

my stuff will go background download, but whenever i go into a game (PS3 game) it goes to "Pending" instead of "Downloading" and won't download until I quit the game.

Now i just updated to v. 2.43 last night, so maybe that was the problem, IDK.

are you using a wireless router? maybe check to see if there is a new firmware available...

I have a Linksys WRT54GL router that I updated the firmware to Tomato and I don't have any disconnects anymore...and you can up the WiFi signal...don't go above 100, though...

I don't think that's it. If I connect it into the wall, I still have problems...
