Pinnochio, the Alternate Ending! - Blu-ray Forum

Since Disney has announced that Pinnochio will have an alternate ending on the release, what's your version?

Mine:
Pinnochio is brought back with his lifeless body and the fairy turns him into a real boy. Pinnochio revives and is excited to be real as is Geppeto but suddenly the fairy unleashes her wrath saying even though he was good in the end he strayed and the fairy only lets him be a real boy for a short while before killing him. She then squashed the cricket.

Pinocchio discovers he can revert back to hardwood when aroused... changes name to Jack Sapling and enters the adult entertainment industry. Honored in 1974 with his first 'Holly Woody' award for "Pornocchio and the Carpenter's Daughter".

Everyone makes it home safely.. for a while. Then, one day, the Cricket gets tired of being the good little voice for Pinnochio. He goes crazy and kills everyone, inlcuding the fairy.

The Cricket lives alone for the rest of his life.

After the original sotry is over, Gepetto realizes that whole thing was a dream that was brought about by stale Peroni and some really wank 'shrooms...he then wakes up and makes himself a woman out of wood and lives miserably ever after.

Long time lurker, finally signed up - can you believe it was the "Pinnochio alternate ending" thread that inspired me to post?

i think the best alternate ending would be something along the lines of "Sleepaway Camp." I.e. after murder geppetto, jiminy, honest john and that evil carnival operator, the camera pulls back to reveal a bloodied, naked pinnochio, revealing that geppetto carved him to be anatomically correct.
