Default Capcom getting its own beach front property on the PSN

Well, figuratively speaking

Capcom will be the first publisher (more would probably follow suite) to get their own category in the PSN, starting in November.
Would this augure of a closer relationship between Sony and Capcom? Who knows, for now, it's all about advertising content on the PSN

Capcom will be the first publisher to get its own publisher-specific storefront on Sony's PS Store on PS3.

The Capcom storefront will launch in November, sporting a slick grey background with Street Fighter, Mega Man and Bionic Commando images around the outside, as seen in this image.

“Out of all of the third-party companies making use of the digital space, [Sony] recognizes Capcom is one of the best partners for content,” said John Diamonon, product manager of Capcom digital titles, adding: “We're supporting PlayStation Network like no other company.”

Other publishers are likely to take advantage of the publisher-specific storefront feature in the near future,

Capcom's Christian Svensson, VP of business development and strategic planning is full of praise for PSN. He told Edge Online: “Sony's taking advantage of--in a very real way--one of the benefits of digital, in that there are multiple ways to sort, search and put things in front of people. In a physical store, that physical object can only exist in one physical space.

“With digital, that object can be highlighted in about 20 different ways. I think Sony is first to recognize that. The more opportunities that someone has a chance to see or be exposed to our content… the more likely it is that someone will give a Capcom title a shot.”
