I was looking at what blu rays are available on play.com and The Shawshank Redemption is available!!!

That's not a WB version. Completely different.

It's the region-free british version from ITV. It's about six minutes shorter than the domestic version, not sure what the differenes are.

My guess is they accidentally put 136 mins as that would normally be the PAL speedup for standard DVDs. Runtime should be the same at 142...

It's not short, they've listed the PAL DVD runtime by mistake. I bought this on release, very nice disc and I don't care about the lack of a lossless track on it. The extras are in PAL 576i, so US machine owners are screwed.

136 min or 142 min? They are the same. This is England. They have the metric system.

Extras are PAL. Can't view any of them.
