PS3 Won't Play Blu Ray movie.... :-( - Blu-ray Forum

I worked a trade awhile back and got Vantage Point and The Air I Breathe.

I just now for the first time put in The Air I Breathe and it won't play.

I get this message: "This Video Cannot Be Played" (80029940)

What's the deal? This is the first time I've ever had that happen. The disc isn't dirty or anything.

If it's a defective disc I guess I'm screwed because since it's a trade, I can't exactly take it back to a store and get a replacement ya know?

The obvious question: have you downloaded all of the availalbe firmware?

Yeah, my system is updated completely.

Funny thing. I ejected it, and put it back in and voila! plays perfectly.

Weird.
