Default Combo Format...any chance Blu-Ray may do this?

Do you ever think Sony might release a combo format for DVD/Blu-RAY much like HD-DVD does? I have to admit I envy this product for one reason only - I'd like to have the DVD option for when I travel and carry my portable DVD player.

Other than that, I don't see much use for it...

Of course, this is where HD-DVD supporters jump in and say it is part of the money grab by Sony to make me buy both versions of a movie...
