Average Price of KDL-40Z4100 - Blu-ray Forum

Hello everyone. I just recently purchased the Sony KDL-40Z4100 for $1600. Does that seem like a lot to everyone? It was kind of an impulse buy and I have some buyer's remorse now. Thanks for your help.

Amazon has it for $1579 so basically what you paid for. So I would say it's a good buy. Very nice TV by the way.

You have an SXRD, no reason to upgrade for 4 more years, my dad has one..... its a very nice TV

That's a pretty good price. But I've been looking at the 46z4100 which is just under $1800. You may have been better off getting the 6 extra inches for $175

I got it at Fry's a week ago. I think the 46" was 18-1900. I could be wrong.

how is the red color on the tv? i have seen the Z in some stores and the red accuracy looks off, i was watching a submarine show on discovery at the store and the red warning lights came on and the Z tv had a pinkish tone to the red lights and every other tv was very red. Could have been a bad hookup tho
