Default In wall speakers?

Alright you guys are going to think I am the dumbest person alive but here it goes. Right now i have a 5.1 setup and have been wanting to upgrade for a while to 7.1. So after living in my house for a year I forgot that the house has speakers in the wall already . I never thought about it but it actually has 8 speakers throughout the house with knobs to control the volume.

(I forgot how to post pictures)

so as you can see the speakers are above my tv and I do not know what brand they are but what should I do with them? HELP!!!!!

The house was built in 1990 and I guess they have been up since then

Judging by the picture you posted, they look like they are angled kinda weird. I personally don't think ceiling mounted speakers are practical. Find out what kind of speakers they are (brand, size). If they are worth while, maybe you could relocate them in the walls of your HT (more practical IMO). If you don't care for them, see if you can sell them and buy urself some speakers of your choice.

If you don't like them, and can't be sold, blow them up. That's always fun.

Find out where the source of connection is and then connect a radio/CD player to them for background music. Someone must have connected something to them at one time. They were not installed in the walls just for looks. I don't believe their quality is good enough to use them for movies.

Yeah, the site seems to be spanish. I don't know if it's a custom one or what but it seems like it is. I've never heard of an unrated Transformers Blu-ray.
