Default Trying to Set Up a Home Theater

I am currently in the process of trying to set up my own home theater. I currently have a 46' Samsung 1080P LCD TV and a PS3. I am now in the process of looking for surrond sound. Does anyone have any ideas for good speakers in the price range of $700. I know this is not a huge budget but any suggestions would help.

Front Mains= Polk Monitor 50 - $300
Center= Polk CS1= $90
Rear Mains= Polk Monitor 30- $130
Sub= Polk PSW10- $125

Total= $645

all at amazon FTW. free shipping no tax. leaves you 50 bucks to get some decent speaker cable.

Do you have a receiver? if not its best you look into a HTIB

First and foremost, SHOP AROUND at local electronics stores. Different speakers sound "good" to different ears. Find a brand name, or a set of speakers that sound really good to you, that you can listen to for a few minutes in a local store. When you've found what you like, shop around for the best price online. Amazon typically saves you a few hundred bones.

Polk Monitor 60's

Polk CS2

eD A2-300 subwoofer (see sig below)

Surrounds (save for them)

Onkyo 606 (see my sig below)

All of it is over budget, but not by too much. It's worth the extra stretch. The Polk sub is no where near as good. The Sony's are okay, but the Monitor 60's and CS2 are much better sounding (in my opinion). It's better to do it right the first time.

^ no offense, but idk why anyone would buy that referb 606. They're charging 300+shipping which is close to 325. all of $25 more and you can get a brand new one at amazon.

I like my sony's and I know the a few people here like their 6000's, also the polk 60's are supposed to be pretty good, personally, I passed on the polk 50's due to the price and the fact that my 5000's sounded pretty close to them anyways and I could save $200. But I would definetly go listen to them all and get what you like with your budget.

Check my sig. Recommended by Driver King and some others. Awesome sound, low price.
