Which version is this? BDP-BX1 sold ONLY at COSTCO, is it the 350 under a different name?

Its the Sony S350...re badge for Costco with minor differences.

Please correct this if it isn't true, but I seem to remember reading a comment in that thread or another one that the BDP-BX1 only bitstreams DD TrueHD and doesn't decode it. The S350 does both. Otherwise they are pretty much identical.

The biggest difference is that the S350 decodes TrueHD, while the BX1 doesn't. Other than that, they are identical machines.
