yeah right. I work at Best Buy and dvd's are about 1/10 of the store. And blu-rays are about a tenth of that (8-10 4' sections). Blu rays can't get much bigger, there's not enough titles.

Blu-ray is surpassing the 1000 titles mark (when you factor in the few dozen impending releases).

But there's 77,000 dvd titles on BestBuy.com. I love bluray but that's still a large difference.

I was at Best Buy this weekended, and for some reason, it looked like maybe they took out a row or two of shelving from their DVDs. I don;t know if it was just me, but I though the amount of space they had reserved for DVDs had shrunk, while the Blu-ray area did expand to one more shelving section.

That's funny because my local Best Buy treats me like a criminal when I try to use a coupon.

Point and shoot with the reader gun and total is seconds away here.

Last time I was in BB, there was one side of an isle dedicated to Blu-ray, one roll-away display with a bunch of discounted BDs, and 3 end caps.

At my local bestbuy I noticed that they just recently took away half an aisle of dvds and filled it with blurays.
