Surround Hook Up - Blu-ray Forum

I was wondering if anybody knew how to get a surround system to play whatever's on your TV with surround sound without plugging all your devices directly through your receiver.

Like what type of hook up and settings.

Well, if you mean w/out completely plugging your devices through your receiver, you could just connect the audio in, and have the video go from device to TV. That's what I do. Also, your TV might have an audio out jack, which you can run from the TV to the receiver. Other than that, I don't know.
