Cut to black...

At my Dad's house, he has a PS3, Sony 52" XBR4, and an Integra receiver. When watching Blu-Rays and DVDs, the audio will continue to play, but the screen will go black for a couple of seconds and then just come right back. This will happen once, maybe more than once, during each movie. At first, he thought the discs were scratched, but I've rented from Blockbuster too and I've had ZERO problems playing my Blockbuster movies.

So, we figured it was the PS3. He sent it to Sony and got a new/refurbished one. The problem still persists.

What could be causing this? A bad HDMI cable? His Integra receiver (of which he's also had replaced once before)?
