Okay, I was watching the 2nd disc of Wall-E, one of the features about how Pixar got started up (it is the longest one, a documentary), and 31:35 in, they show the T-rex/Gallimimus scene from Jurassic Park in hi definition! Obviously it was not cleaned up, but it still looks FANTASTIC! As it is my favorite movie of all time, Spielberg better get to releasing it! Just thought I'd let you all know!

Sounds like fore play. I never though I would cross light sabers with Steven Spoilberg.

as bad as I want this on blu, I wouldn't expect any of them to be out in 2009. Would love to see them but I think it's too early. Maybe a late 2009 release, but more than likely they are going to be out alongside the new movie if it ever happens

Yep though stuck in prepro hell. Shooting hasn't started yet; no announcements have been made. I suspect it'll be in 3D.

I can't wait for JP on Blu. I also can't believe how good the Dinos look still... how can we have completely a realalistic T-Rex back then and have Ghost Rider over a decade later?

I also am not sure if I want another JP, the series gets slightly worse with each film.

That was just a rumor for JP IV. A very old one at that.

It was be excellent if Jurassic Park, Lost World and Jurassic Park III get a fantastic Blu-ray release. Should be a complete release with bonus features galore.

I had actually had the chance to meet and talk with the writer of JP3, Peter Buschman. He was assigned the job through Steven Speilberg because he liked a spec script he did for Dreamworks that never got made. He had three months to write the movie, and when it was all said and done not one word of the film was his.

He conceded that he felt the 3rd film should not take place on another island, but expenses and logisticals meant that would be impossible.

It just goes to show you how hard getting a good movie made really is.

ditto, I watched the movie soo many times it literally broke the vhs and had to get a new one and came close to breaking that one as well until I finally got Jp on dvd and kept watching the trailer for JpIII on it. My first copy of Jp was destroyed and the second I still have and ended up receiving another copy of it on VHS as a gift from my brother.

Jurassic Park collector's edition dvd
Jurassic Park VHS x2
coming hopefully very soon...Jurassic Park blu-ray
