PS3 349.99 at Wal Mart?? - Blu-ray Forum

I was at my local Wal Mart last night and they had a 40 gb display unit out. The price tag said 349.99. There was nothing to indicate that they were selling the display unit, which would explain the 50.00 drop. Did Sony drop the price or is that just liquidation of the 40gb systems?

Walmart has had 350$ as their price for a 40 gig for at least a month or so.

I'm assuming it's just Walmart's liquidation value.

I noticed the 80 gig last night at target with a $40 gift card.

They got a better deal that you will find in the forums here under hot deals, 80gb + 2 games + 4 movies for 400 something...

My advice: Buy it somewhere that offers an extended warranty. ie: Price match at Best Buy.

Also have 60 gigs for sale as well if anyone wants a ps3 that can play ps2 games the time to buy is now.

Walmart does offer an extended warranty. Not only that but it is pretty cheap too.
