Hey guys, I have a question and I hope you can help. A friend of mine recently returned from an I.T. job in Iraq. Before returning to the states he sent his PS3 home to avoid having to carry it on his return trip. The system ended up getting lost in the mail and he was never able to claim it. He insured the package so he's already purchased it's replacement.
Now my question is this, he created a PSN ID and it had 1 PSN purchase on it. Is there any possible way to activate his existing PSN ID on his new PS3 when it arrives. Sure he only has a single $10 purchase attached to it, but still if there's a way save $10 then why not? Thanks for the info in advance. |

I wouldn't think so. Unless it is being used and the person signs on automatically (if your friend has that setting on) then things might get a little weird. Especially when it comes to gaming online.
