Default Help! Sony HT plus Klipsch SW-10 Question

I have an older sony htib but its components were sold seperately at the time/before as well. The receiver is STR-K750P (5.1 100watts per channel). It also came with a front firing 75watt powered sub, center, and the four satellites. After a while I replaced the sub with the Klipsch SW-10. I was able to take some of the bass off the 4 speakers and had a nice flow. Tv/games/comedies/music I never have any problems. But some action movies like batman begins, the sub can act like it doesnt know how to distirbute all the bass/mix well. I've tried numerous combinations/adjustments of the sub's Hz and Volume (usually around 80-110hz and 7-10 volume, but ive strayted elsewhere as well.) The receiver only has a -10 to +10 sub decibal level which i've tried turning down as well. Everytime I think i've found a good setting it turns out I didn't... anyone else been in this boat? Thanks

You need a new receiver. And new speakers.
