they have this cable for sale
HDMI 1.3a Category 2 Certified Cable 28AWG - 6ft w/Ferrite Cores (Gold Plated Connectors) - ORANGE

I never tried the orange ones but the black ones work perfectly!

Edit: the color part is a joke, but I do have the same cables (5 of them, but I only used 3 so far) I paid 4.73$ back in April (so you have a good deal 37% off :P)

Monoprice? Hrm, did they just start up or something? Must be a new company. Probably a scam.

...seriously though, they're very reputable and if there was an official cable provider for blu-ray.com, it'd be monoprice. I just got a really snazzy 12' subwoofer cable from them for under $5.

Ditto. I love this cable very much. In fact, I ordered another one of them this morning for a BD player I bought today. The status was changed to shipped within an hour of ordering. I will never buy a cable anywhere else ever again thanks to these guys.

I've got several orange ones, and they work just fine. Color makes no difference.

Never used an orange one, but have 2 black ones that work just fine. Also have one 10 footer in black that works just as well.

I heard if you lick the orange HDMI from monoprice they taste like orange! get real! color is just a color. Would a black ferrari runs faster than a silver ferrari?

No, a red Ferrari runs faster :P

(I guess I'm guilty of starting the joke about color and it was just a joke! )

Monoprice makes rediculously awesome cables.

I still can't believe it.

I have said it many times and I'll say it again.
My art director 1) Hired me 2) promoted me and 3) gave me a bonus...all for sending him to monoprice.com

So...clearly...I have a bizarre devotion to that site for a number of reasons...BUT...all that aside...they make great stuff whether they made my career better or not.

(I also don't really ever want to find out what happens if I send him to a less then stellar website )
