Default Thoughts on this bedroom setup?

So my friend wanted a HTiB for Christmas until I convinced him that he won't get HD audio from his PS3 for blu-ray with any of the ones he was looking at. So the price of the system was $700 and I told him I could build him a better system for the price. When I went to work I was checking out our satellite speakers and found that my manager was willing to sell the Klipsch Cinema 6 Package for $399 without the sub (which my friend won't need anyways, as it is for the bedroom and it won't ever be used during the day and he doesnt want to wake the neighbors)... now to keep it under budget I also found a Sony STR-DG710 receiver in the back that the manager is willing to part with for $199.

So I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts on this system for games and movies for surround sound... I'm not a satellite speaker fan myself but they do what he needs.

Any other suggestions? (Please remember I'm in Canada so I can't buy electronics off Amazon.com or the likes)

I don't know about the klipsch satelites, but I do know the Energy Take-5 system is amazing for the size and should fit within that budget.

That will be more than enough for a bedroom.

My first setup was almost Identical, RSX-4's, RCX-4, RSW-10 and an STR-DG910.

If you have to do it cheap and have a small area, that would be a good way to go.

Oh I just remembered we also have some old Synergy floorstanders kicking around.... SF-1s as well as the matching center and rears.... the whole system can be had for $450... but it will take up the additional floorspace.
