Angry LiteOn DH-401S

I have a system I bult myself. It has a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ AM2 Processor, 500gb Sata HDD the LiteOnDH-401S BD-ROM, 3gb of ram, Radeon HD3450 256mb, I am running Vista Business Edition. I have WINDVD9 with BD/HDVD, Totalmedia Theatre, and Cyberlink PowerDVD. I have tried playing back BD discs with all three Programs. I got Alvin and The Chipmunks to work with WINDVD9, but can't get Meet Dave a 20th Century Fox disc to playback? I did the update for TotalMedia Theatre with no luck. WINDVD9 kept saying I needed an up date, but I couldn't find one for it. PowerDVD was totally useless and did nothing. Any Ideas on what I can do?????

Upgrade your video card to an Nvidia 8xxx or 9xxx series or an ATI 4XXX series - these have no problem with BD at all - you can get an ATI HD 4550 for under $60.00

According to numerous posts on the internet Fox changed it's BD+ encryption on newer titles which seems to be causing problems. This might be the what you're experiencing especially since Meet Dave was just released on 11/25.

Here's what I posted in another thread where another user was experiencing problems with another recently released Fox Title.

EDIT: Here's a link to another forum stating even the latest version of WinDVD 9 Plus Blu-ray (9.0.14.91_63207), as well as AnyDVD HD, also has this issue.

All I can say is that it appears that Fox needs to be blamed for this snafu.

If this is the cause, the only think we can do is wait for the companies (ArcSoft, Corel, Cyberlink) that make the software for Blu-ray playback on PCs to release an update/patch for their software.
