It's only a matter of time until Blu-ray will have a 3:1 advangate; at that point it's over!

I think we have to maintain a 4:1 advantage to make most understand the end is upon them. I think we can have that by the end of the year.

I agree. Which is why it was so important for HD DVD to counter Pirates with The Matrix. I gotta believe there was some serious pleading/begging from MS/Toshiba to release the Matrix on May 22nd. Too much of a coincidence.

It just a stay of execution though. What does HD DVD have to answer for Spidey3, POTC 3, Fantastic Four Silver Surfer? By December 31st the sales ratio will easily be 4:1 if not higher.

According to third graph, BD sales maintaind 4 to 1 to HD DVD week through 3-25-07, and sales on march was around 3.3 to 1.

Hey, don't forget when Warners starts releasing their HD-DVD titles on BD. As the "total" numbers go, BD can make the case that they're not total until the neutral studios have the same titles available on both formats. When Batman and the like come out, watch out.

Well, I hope '300' and the next Harry Potter do not slip on Blu Ray due to IME delays.

Batman Begins and 300 along with the Star Wars series..or at least half of it would end this mess...

BD let HD-DVD get a head start with their 'convenient' pricing and still pulled ahead by the time 2007 hit and has maintained a lead ever since...

once these warner titles come out for BD that are already on HD-DVD (Batman Begins etc.) I'll really start being able to pour money into some movies...

My thoughts exactly. Maybe Sony should think about releasing a PS3 update called "IME @ home," where PS3s are used to help develop the features Warners wants so those titles are out sooner.
