Holy Crap it's December!!! - Blu-ray Forum

Just as the title says, it's Dec. already. Has this year flown by for anyone else or is it just me?? Looking back, this year I got my 1st HDTV and Blu-ray player and saw the birth of my 2nd child, my son Grant (my 1st boy as well!!).

As this year comes to a close, what are you looking forward to next year?? Any particular movie, bluray release, or special event??

I myself can’t wait for Lord of the Rings to come out on bluray and will be counting down the days from Jan. 6, 2009. My brother-in-law is being deployed to Iraq for his 2nd tour for 1 year, just 7 days after his daughter is born!!

Yep time sure has a way to fly by you. To me it seems every year now goes really fast. For 2009 I hope there will be more Pixars on Blu and a few other good movies

Times gone by very fast for me aswell. Quickest year I have ever had when I look back on it. Oh well. I am looking forward to the Watchmen movie in 2009.

Once I get my HDTV when I get a job, the first thing I'll be getting will probably either the Lord of the Rings boxset, The Dark Knight or a wrestling PPV on BD. Well, I think LOTR is coming next year, I don't follow BD news as I used to.

Yep. This year certainly has flown by. I remember one of my uncles telling me "time just seems to go faster and faster the older you get." Wow, he was right. This year's gone by the fastest yet, and I'm expecting to say the same thing next year.

Birth of our child in May
Finishing my basement / theater
LOTR on blu-ray

Love December, taking the 24th - 2nd off from work.

This year flew by for me. My wife and I were married in August and the planning of that took up most of our time. Once it finally came and went it was great. It's hard planning a destination wedding with 100 people in attendance.

Looking forward to more Blu's next year but mostly to all the traveling I'll be doing. Napa in April then New York in July.

quick question since I haev only been Blu since September...Do they have good BD sales after Christmas and the new year?

Benny, if you think this year went fast, wait'll you see how fast they fly by fifteen years from now. They go faster and faster and faster the older you get.

December is the best! I don't celebrate Christmas, but I simply adore the Christmas atmosphere!
