Resistance 2 question - Blu-ray Forum

I finally jumped into Resistance2. I was a little stunned last night though. Is there no OFFLINE multi-player competition? I tried to set a multi-player death match with my buddy like Resistance, but I could not find it. I had to keep on trying to sign onto the online competitive section.

Perhaps I am missing something really simple?

Correct. No offline multi-player. I was a little bummed too.

However, you can goto the ONLINE COMPETITIVE and CREATE GAME. Pick your maps, make it for how many players you want, and make it PRIVATE. Then only your and your buddies in the room can join.

Same basic experience, just you have to locked into their servers.

Yes to co-op but not like R1. Offline (and online) co-op are totally separate missions than the single player story. Different characters, different maps....

Thanks. I had tried to go ahead do that last night but was getting a DNS error when I tried to sign on to create a game. That would have been my first "online" gaming experience

Looks like I will have to try again.
