Ok well this guy blocked my thread i made just a sec ago, so i thought here was the right place to make my inquires...well first off you people make me sick, people all over the world are extremely poor and many don't even own a TV and all of you dedicate your lives to following and bragging about the latest technology, thinking it's the most important...and iv seen full HD, and it dosnt amaze me in anyway...its only a clearer picture resolution. I mean oh my god lol...you people talk about picture resolutions, and which is better. As far as im concerned DVD and TV will only get gayer as the future comes nearer, eventually technology will destroy humanity, and i know all of you know it but don't want to beleave it. Sorry if i sound like a cray hippi but its a true fact! Please read this and post your coments..i want to see what you all have to say to that. Dont delete my post until some people comment on my opinion.

I don't think it is the greatest thing ever seen. It is cool, but I do have a life outside of Blu-Ray Discs. Not everything in my life is about HD. I can't speak for everyone here, but I don't think everone on this site is obsessed with this technology. It is just something for entertainment. I do think that some people take the whole format war, between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Disc a little too seriously, but that's about it. Well that is my 2 cents.

It is not our fault they are were they are and poor.
It is not our responsibility to fix everyones problems.

You can spend your life complaining and worrying over the rest of the world, that aint gonna get fixed, so your waisting your time.

man, why is everyone so pissed at this guy? he is right about technology, he may be articulating his point very poorly, but I agree about technology. studies show the frequent use of electronic devices lowers ones IQ.

but I have a question. how hypocritical is it to preach about how ignorant and greedy everyone on here is when you are using the internet to post this thread? how many people in the world don't have computers, much less the internet. I despise the current structure of the world, but I might as well take advantage of its few perks before it implodes.

We ALL (I'm assuming) have lives outside of BR and this forum.. but It's a hobby just like anyone else's.. if you have no real intrest in the BR technology then why come here?

Calo, you are right, a large portion of the world is poor, but as we saw by the wild success of the Soviet Union... from each according to their means to each according to their needs DOES NOT WORK! All you get is EVERYBODY becomes poor. When you grow up, graduate, get a job, and start paying your own taxes, you will become much less of an idealist.
