Default RM6750 or RM10

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of upgrading my 7 year old Sony HTIB system and would like some advice on speakers.

I am already having a tough decision between the Onkyo 606 and the Denon 1909 receivers. To add on top of that I now have a speaker confusion.

Should I get the Rm6750 or get the RM10 and then find another sub. I am ready to go up to $350 for my speakers. I see that RM10 is about $210 in newegg. If this is the choice what would be a good sub.

Any other comments? All your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks driver king for the quick reply. I dont think I can spend the $350 on the sub right now. Can you please suggest any other sub that would be in the 100 to 150 range? If this is the case am I better off going with the RM 6750?

Also I want to know Onkyp 606 or the Denon 1909 is the way to go? I can get the Denon 1909 on 6ave.com for 449 today with free shipping . I know this is not the receiver thread but thought would throw it in there

Thanks!

Out of the two, if price wasn't an issue, I'd choose the Denon. If you're looking to save money and put more toward a better sub (cough, cough), then I'd go for the 606. Ecost has a silver one in stock for $250. Save that little bit of money for the A2-300. You'll be glad you did.

Thank you sir. I appreciate your kindness to help even with your cold . I am on it to get the Onkyo 606 from ecost. For that price I cannot seem to paa on it based on what I have read from the receiver and I can better invest the extra in the Rm10 and A2 300.

Thanks once again!
