I recommend this show very highly. If you haven't seen Buffy you'll still enjoy it!

Picked this up today. I never watched this show but I enjoyed Buffy and will give this a shot. Probably won't get around to watching it for quite a while but will eventually get around to it.

Ugh....why do I have to be broke. I've been waiting for this to drop in price before I picked up, and that's the perfect price.

Same time, maybe Angel will get a BD release since the whole show was in widescreen, unlike Buffy.

The last season was IMO a great great season, it definitely made me want to strangle Joss for ending the series.

the 5th season was one of my favorites

I liked Gunn better as a suit, Fred better as someone other than Fred, and Angel competiting with Spike is always good

Lucy. The Summer Glau episode is mostly about Angel and Cordelia. And of course Faith is always sexy. She's in 6 episodes.

That's a great deal. The BTVS box set goes on Gold Box sale every few months too. Too bad I already have all the seasons separately. It would have been nice to have the entire sets for this cheap. I paid full price when they first came out.

We have both the Angel and Buffy sets, my wife is a huge fan.
They are both fun and entertaining shows, though I like the Buffy series better than Angel

This show is about a vampire cursed with a soul trying to redeem himself for what he did when he was evil. Very good show; a lot of action, drama, situational comedy, etc.

It was cancelled after 5 seasons and now continues on in comic book form written by the original creator and main writer for the series.

Gotta warn you apart from the first episode and the last 5, season one sucks. It doesnt become really good till midway season 2 and seasons 3 and 4 are where the show hits its peak. Season 5 is good but downhill from season 4.

Six Feet Under is a black comedy. Joss' humor is different... very unique.

Also this show is mostly lighthearted (except s4).

Buffy is better but this show is still great =].
