Who's all waiting for The Dark Knight to price drop before you buy?

This is for people like me,who've seen in IMAX theaters 4 times Plus and would only watch it again for it to below the full retail price.


im a fan of the dark knight,but not so much to rush out and buy it blu-ray on release day,many people are buying to now because they haven't saw it Or as a Xmas gift right???

i've already bought one Dark Knight dvd and one blu-ray for Christmas gifts and am probably going to get my own copy for Christmas....

I already bought the bat-pod edition at the midnight release, and I plan on getting the steelbook as well. This movie is too good to wait a couple of months just to save $2.

24.99 isn't expensive compare to some of the new releases out there.I got my copy already and after this week it will be back up to 29.99 or 34.99.

Yes it will. That's what always happens with new releases. They start out in the low to mid 20's and then rise to $30 soon after that. I pre-ordered it for $23.99 and used a $25 gift card towards it at Best Buy. I paid 97 cents for mine so I have zero complaints.

I paid $29.99CDN. Stores in Canada always rip you off, and I am not going Amazon for this. I got it on day one, Futureshop Steelbook baby.

There needs to be an option on this poll for people who bought it right away and got it for a good price, so there was no point in waiting.

I got mine for about $22, with free shipping from Tower.com, and it actually showed up on the date of release (not that it really bothers me when movies take a bit longer than that, but I didn't even have to wait until after the day of release to have it in hand after shipping).

Someone else mentioned a $19.99 price.

I don't see how much lower in price this movie will get any time soon. Those are actually really good deals for a brand new release of a movie that was pretty much the biggest movie of the year. I could see not wanting to pay $27 or more, but once you get into the $20 range, that is a darn good deal, IMO.

You complain that the price of the Dark Knight on BD is to high yet you've seen it 4 times on IMAX and you are dressed like the Joker in your Avatar? That dosen't make ANY since.

TDK is $25 for a three disc edition that includes a digital copy version and a slip cover. Not a bad price at all, specially for this movie. This movie is to be enjoyed now.

If I don't get it as a gift for Christmas, then I will wait for the next Columbia House BOGO and get it for around $14. Or if there is sale somewhere else for about that price.

I don't think it's about being cheap. I know this may come as a surprise to you but there are some people out there who don't care about seeing a movie as much as someone else. Hell, I didn't even see Batman Begins until about a year and a half after it came out on DVD. And not to my surprise, the world did not come to an end.

The same goes with The Dark Knight. I want to watch the movie but it's not at the top of my priorities list. If I get around to it in the next year I'd be fine with that.

Or some people do not think that TDK is as good of a movie as it is made out to be by EVERYONE. It's a great movie, but it is not THAT good...They can cut a good 20-30 minutes of it to let it not drag.

I bought it on release day because I truly enjoyed it and the fine performances...however, although one of my favorite superhero movies, it is by far NOT one of my favorite movies.
