Best value Profile 2.0 region free player?

What is the best Region Free player that is profile 2.0, HDMI, bit streaming, Ethernet port, and good features? I'm looking to replace my PS3 with something that is Region Free.

Didn't know there were any region free players other than the chipped players on Ebay. Could be wrong though.

There's no Profile 2.0 region free player unmodder right now. The only one i know is the BH200 MultiFormat player that can be done region free in DVD and Bluray and can output PAL/NTSC (altought you need a PAL device with PAL Stuff) with a remote code and a software burned on a CDR

I'm sure a player like this will turn up eventually. A lot of Blu-ray titles are region-free as it is, though.

I ended up getting the Panasonic DMP-BD35. It's Profile 2.0, moddable (PAL & NTSC) to Region A/B/C with Blu and 1-6 with DVD , bitstreams to my Onkyo TX-SR-806, has IR and a digital display.

My wishlist is to have all of those features plus the load speed of a PS3, SACD DSD HDMI-Out, DVD-Audio, and region free with no mod needed.

Maybe the new Oppo will have it all, but I doubt the region-free on the Blu.

Yeah but it will cost... Oppo predict a price range around 599$US with it will launch maybe next summer. They are intering Beta stage in January...

hi, are you buying the mod kit and doing it yourself? i'm interested in exactly the same thing. i've got a bad feeling about the oppo so the panasonic sounds nice.
