My parents just recently bought a new computer so I grabbed their emachines LCD 17in. monitor to play with. I hooked it all up to my computer to try playing some blu disks on and I was very surprised at how bad the picture looked. My laptop actually has a better picture than this, and both have 720p screens. That wasn't the biggest problem though. I started looking at the screen in more detail and started noticing that it has a blue tint over everything from video to web pages. Its not a really strong tint but it can easily be found if your looking for it. Also, the tint seems to be stronger when white colors are being displayed.
Its not that im going to lose anything if it doesn't work, but im still curious about this problem and would like to know more about it before I pick up a new LCD screen. |
