Mine was the 2-disc. I'd pre-ordered the 3-disc, got a better Gold Box price, cancelled & re-ordered not noticing the Gold Box deal was the 3-disc DVD.

Went back for the 2-disc BD. Put the DVD's digital copy on the family iPod, played it on Thanksgiving vacation on the kids' room TV in the rental beach house on Dauphin Island. Loaned the DVD out three times so far. Still feel stupid, but not for the first time.

I didn't get one. I ordered the 3 disc version. But I used a $10 giftcard when I purchased it if that makes a difference.

yep i got it... $10 was refunded to my dift card balance that i used to buy it... they wont take this away will they, if i use it right now?

Not me...but i'm not complaining because that will just mess it up for everyone else! If you got a refund it was for a reason! I bought the 3 disc version so maybe they're giving it to the people who bought the 2 disc version since they were the same price!

Reminds me a bit of what happened with Kung Fu Panda though - price dropped a fair bit after release so they gave people credits. Wall-e 2 disc is down to $19.99 now afterall - think it was 24.95 or 25.95 when I placed my pre-order

Well, for informational purposes. I received the email with $10 refund this morning and I had pre-ordered Prince Caspian and Wall-E. Both 3-disc versions.
