Default Placing bookshelf speakers directly on floor...
I've never watched tv or movies with anything other than the tv speakers. I want to change that. I do not want to hang any speakers on my walls though. So I was wondering, how bad would the sound be if I just placed the rear left/right speakers on the floor? I know I can get stands for them, but I do not want to buy them yet because I might be moving in the spring and might be able to hang the speakers at ear level properly in a different place.
