None of above were filmed in HD lol.

Sorry, but Top Gear only has one HD episode and is available on region B. All the others will only be available on DVD.

Why should that matter? There are an awful lot of movies not filmed in HD that are getting remastered in HD for Blu-ray...

I guess I was kind of tossed when I saw Jekyll, maybe I'll have to see it again sober so I can have a better perspective, but I'm sticking to my guns with Coupling, that show cracks me up

I would not be surprised if Gavin and Stacey was released next year on Blu-Ray.

The operative word is filmed: negative motion picture film is already exponentially higher resolution than even 1080x1920; video is not film, and we're only beginning to see digital video at film-like levels of resolution. If a show is shot on video, it's forever limited to the resolution at which it was shot...which means there's an awful lot of TV programming for which a BD release would mean no real improvement in image quality.

Walking with Dinausor CGI was done in Lowrez. It would be as obivious as Firefly with Effect Shots... They would need to redo the textures and re-render the footage in 1080p.
