Default Infrared Sight's Theater

Just thought I would upload my theater pics here. They are in my HT Gallery. Hope you enjoy them and notice the cable runner on the wall to hide the wires.

Nice setup, man. I do dig the neatness of your wires in the back - I wish mine were as neat.

Yeah, the lightsabers are awesome. What are you using to mount them on the wall?

Also, where did you get the plaques? I found an old thread about plaques and referenced everyone to www.designbybond.se and these look like they came from him.

Thanks for the comments guys. Really appreciate it.
ajmueller, I got the saber mounts from...here. Looks like they are closed now, also looks like they are reopening soon, but I bought them some time ago. I printed off the logos from...eek they are not there anymore. wtf?? The sites address was http://www.soundpictures.fr/plaques/hc.html Well, that makes me mad. I wanted stuff from there still.
Thanks again guys.

That's too bad about the sites. I bet all those sabers look really sweet when they're lit! Might I recommend adding a pic of that to your gallery?

Excellent. Gave it a 10 for the sabers. You really can't get a whole lot sweeter than that!

Oh what a difference a year makes. Just wanted to bump my theater since I have basically redone my room. Lets see, I have gotten rid of all my HD DVDs, gone from 5 htib speakers, to great Polk Audio speakers, and built a riser for future use. I have set in motion the first piece of three for the riser by ordering a real front row of three Berkline 12003 chairs. They are estimated to be here on 12/16, so that's like one week from now. I can't wait.
I also calibrated the speakers using the radioshack analog sound meter. Watched Ice Age 3 and it was awesome. I have everyone here to thank as I just love reading everything on this forum as its so informative. I believe I have the best system that I can afford and that says a lot for me. Thanks everyone.
My next steps for my theater will be getting a real subwoofer, upgrading my couch on the riser to another Berkline chairs, and front projection. I hope to get all this done by 2012, as I don't have the biggest budget in the world. I hope to meet this goal for myself.
Anymore comments on my theater will be cool. Thanks again guys.

Yeah it is. lol. When I get seats for the riser, I won't know what to do with it for future years.

That is one nice theater you have there. With the room restrictions i would say the same as Beta suggests have it the other way around I am not sure if the couch would block stuff though. And would also waste the nice job you did with the riser. Anyway kudos on working with what you have

louhamilton, yeah that is the monitor I got with my first computer from 2001 or 02. It works fine so I have never upgraded. I have thought about it, but I have always just put extra money into my theater which is more important to me.

^Lestat^, I thought about doing it the other way, but with the entrance of my house on the right, there would just be no room for a riser let alone a second row of seats like I have it set up now, and with the berklines on the way. Plus if I have my front door open, people would be able to see my tv and components and I don't want any reason for people to come in my house you know . Thanks.

I see you have already gotten rid of them. I was going to ask what all those funny looking red cases mixed in with your blurays were?

My room is completed for the year 2009. My Berklines arrived and I am very pleased with them. Power recline model 12003 in bonded leather. They feel very comfortable and I could not be happier.

Berklines look a lot better with the other seating. Those blue chairs weren't doing your arrangement justice. What's the plans for 2010?
