Do Future Shop and/or Best Buy Price Match SIG?

I've done it once at Future Shop. As long as SIG has the movies in stock it should be matched so you'll pay the total of all movies plus the SIG shipping cost minus 10 percent of the diffence in price.

Thanks belama, I will do that then. I guess last time I went to Futureshop to do it...I got stuck with a jerk who said they dont match that store because its wholesale .

hey sony just to answer your q abuot the rental selections at blockbuster. no blockbusters generally have the same rental titles, the only thing that suppose to vary is quantity depending on how busy that particular store gets. its most likely a customer just rented casino royale out at your store and never returned it and they havn't replenished that stores stock from headoffice. my store has 3 casino royales to rent. p.s- i got my futureshop to price match a couple of blus on boxing day so yeah, your guys musta been a jerk. but i went to bestbuy and they wouldnt do it for me at all. gues they have different policies. not good for cx serivce. thats why i love futureshop.

Also if any of you Canadians can help...I live in Mississauga and would like to maybe buy if not rent Ratatouille. Where would be the best place to find it? I found both Wal-Mart and Toys R Us sites have it so they might have it at their stores...while its not on Futureshop. Also last week when I was at 2 Blockbusters I dont recall seeing it in the rent section. I have a New Years Eve gathering at my house and we are going to chill and watch a Blu...showing it off for first time so thought it would be the best movie.

Nevermind I found Ratatouille at Future Shop for $29.99 and also got Rambo from there for a good deal I thought $19.99.

Tried to price match SIG at Best Buy once and was refused. The guy there said they only price match "big" stores like Futureshop and Walmart. Although it might have been also because the Best Buy price was $35 while SIG was $20.

bestbuy.ca states (same applies for Future Shop):

Either prior to purchase or within 30 days of purchase (14 days for computers, monitors, printers, notebook computers, camcorders, digital cameras, radar detectors, portable DVD players, and air conditioners) should you find a lower advertised price, including those on the internet from an authorized Canadian Dealer, we will match that price.

So if the place is local or on the internet and they are an authorized dealer, it should be alright. I do know that SIG is an authorized dealer but I'm not sure if they have to be specifically authorized to sell Sony or Blu-ray products to price match Blu-Ray movies. If BB and FS would be smart, they would have a list of valid stores to match from so their employees wouldn't do any mistakes.

He was full of s**t!

I price matched the Logitech G25 wheel which was ~360$ at their store to ~230$ from an online retailer... The guy did complain a little but hey in the end he matched the price minus 10% of the difference.

From my own experience, I have had a harder time price matching at Best Buy than Futureshop. At futureshop most of the times, I just go up to the cashier tell her the price and she adjusts the price right without even checking (it doesn't work with every employee but hey when it works, it's way faster!)
