Okay, I'm in a dilema, my PS3 isn't close enough to the router to get a wireless connection, so I wanted to use my mobile laptop as a bridge. It's got two ethernet cards in it, one receiving and one I would like to set up as an access point. The PS3 can't handle ad hoc networks apparently and was wondering how to set up an access point with my laptop so it could read it as infrastructure versus ad hoc.
My hardware is Windows XP Transmitting out wireless card - Dynex DX-EBNBC Any help would be much appreciated, been trying for the last hour tinkering with it and about to give it up as impossible. I can't use a cross over cable to connect to the laptop either. Also don't feel like purchasing anything else, it's not that important, just wanted to download a few demos. |
