Question your receiver upgrade to use your computer?

I want to know, What your use a computer Vista or XP for upgrade firmware on receiver?

My receiver HK-254 upgrade firmware and adpter USB-serial port. I bought new Netbook LG "10 windows XP. it's flewless!

I hate Vista!! I have a computer. I tried but isn't working because not backwards compatible to Vista is diferent code.

I went to Bestbuy. i said," I want buy to XP laptop." Customer (giggle). it's trash XP! New Vista! MS want force there buy Vista. I leave out! that's true a$$H0L3 customer from bestbuy!

I went to Futureshop. AWESOME!! thanks customer is nice!!

I heard Onkyo a receiver is better than Harman Kardon. How??

TX-SR706 and TX-SR806 have a RS-232 serial for upgrade firmware.

I know...this forum, most there buy the receiver.

I'm curious, What your use computer XP or Vista?

My brother help me with my receiver HK avr-254 is upgrade firmware successful. it's completed.

The avr, i button press 1-2-3-0-OK on remote control.

i use vista myself, had it set to dual boot with xp and vista and i stopped using xp now, i have no reason to still use xp over vista

If you like Vista for personal?

e-mail and internet are still same for xp or Vista.
business for XP

MS will force on the world we use Vista. Why? MS need money!!!
MS drop a Windows XP is discontiued.
