Default UK and USA Panasonic plasma

I just came across something interesting from the Panasonic UK site. They have something called freesat where you get over 80 hd channels free.....forever. Panasonic is the only tv offering this and it also has onscreen program guide for up to seven days ahead. Why can't the US marlet have this?

free sat is a service in england, it has nothing to do with the brand of tv. i bet that the panny has a freesat receiver built into it though. You can buy the free sat boxes from stores over there and then you get your programming for free after the one time purchase of the receiver. pretty cool that panny is selling tv's over there with those built in though.

Default FreeView

Same here in New Zealand - just brought the TH-50PZ850AZ with built-in digital TV decoder for free to air channels (approx 12 at the moment). Most brands now have these built-in.
