Default 7.1 Audio not common enough.
Why are there practicly no newer releases with 7.1 audio? To think that blu-ray is supposed to be the successor to DVD and isn't using its technology at its full potential. Some studios used to release all titles with 7.1 such as Lions Gate and New Line. Lions Gate still does the vast majority of its new releases in 7.1 DTS HD Master, but since New Line went over to Warner, they are all 5.1. To me this is the same as all DVD's being releases in 2.0 Dolby Surround with a few select titles being Dolby or DTS 5.1. Come on studios....use the power of blu-ray to its full potential.
