Default Any way to split DirecTv?

Hello. I'm getting ready to finish my basement and wondered if there is ANY way or device out there that will allow me to split a line in from my satellite dish. Unfortunately I only have 3 lines that were originally run under the ground into my basement, and they are all being used. I was hoping to run the coaxial line out of my receiver to another tv. Yes, I'll have to watch the same channel, but I was ok with that. Unfortunately the new HD receivers no longer have the output, so what do I do? Thanks for the help!

You can't split the line in from the dish. You can only split it after the receiver.

If he does in fact split it wouldn't he only be able to watch what's playing on the other tv?

DirecTV will usually provide and install for free when you sign up for the additional receiver... they want that monthly $$

Correct. You need to run the splitter from the line out of the satellite receiver box, after it decodes it. You cannot split the raw feed into a TV set.

Um, do you live in a sports bar or something? Apartment complex owner?

Seriously though, are you mirroring the original signal, or can each receiver operate independently?

That sounds like a cool job. Maybe it's not really, but it sounds fun.

You can split the signal from the satellite, but you will need a multi-switch. Check out Zinwell, they make good ones that we have used at work. Keep in mind that if you have hi-def, you need one that has the ka-ku bands. They are pretty expensive, its probably best if you get DirecTV to do it for you.
This would be in-line before the tuner box, you would need another one.
If you don't mind watching the same channel as the other box, you could use one of the other video outs on the box you already have
