Default Onkyo 804 soundproblems

First of all, I'm using the receiver with my PS3. Got it hooked up via HDMI. At one piont, everything worked great. I could receive sound out of all 5/7 speakers.

When I watched a movie, playing the PS3, everything is decoded just fine. I could get the surround sound through all of my speakers. I could toggle through all of the THX settings, hit the "ALL CHANNEL" button and get the stereo sound through the back speakers just like the front.

Now, I can only get stereo sound while playing my PS3. When I watch a movie, everything is decoded just fine. The surround sound can be heard through the rear speakers. I can cycle through all the sound settings. But Games, music, everything else is stuck in stereo. I'm using Video 1 for the PS3. Right above the Video 1 on the display, it says "PCM MultiCH". I can't disengage it. If I try and use the "THX" settings, or use the "All CHANEL" settings, it says it's not available. WTF did I hit that made it so I can't disengage the "PCM MultiCH" settings. How can I disengage that setting? Help!

Is that what's causing the sound to not come out of the rest of the speakers? Please help me out. I'm going mad over here.

though im not familiar with your model (went from a nr-801 to the sr705) i would double check your settings on both the receiver and ps3 in case something got messed up without notice.
