Okay I've begun planning and ordering various pieces for my home theatre. I am planning on investing in surge protection for the electronics and I'm pondering the coaxial cable.
Coaxial Surge Protector - is this thing overkill? - what do you guys do to protect everything downstream on the coax? |

I looked at power conditioners and I'm not sold on them.
I will be installing a whole house surge protector at my main fuse box. The electrical outlets in my room will be changed to Leviton electrical outlets that double as surge protectors. I want to eliminate having a plug-in UPS to keep the hardware as clean as possible. That being said, my vision is to install a surge protector in the attic of my home where the coaxial cable is brought in from outside. Thank you for your thoughts. |
