Default just picked up two sets

A aquos 42 lcd and a Panasonic TH-42PX75U 42.

So I compare them side by side right and I am saying:
Exactly why did I pay so much more for the LCD???
PC Richards had an amazing sale new years day. the aquos was $999
the Panny was only $565.00 brand new!!

The only thing I noticed that the aquos (1080p mind you) looked a lil more 3d when watching I am Legend.

I was a firm beliver in "LCD's are the way to go" but now, I think not!!!!!

the only thing is now I wish I put down the extra $200 bucks to get the 1080p 420hz version of the panny.

but you really cant go wrong with a panny 720p plasma.

I'm wondering why you didn't just buy 2 Panasonic sets!

I think you'll end up realizing how much better of a set that Panasonic is. While the Sharp is no slouch, that Panasonic is an amazing tv for the price. Was the Panny for sale on that PC Richards site? Is it still?!

I didnt buy two because i was set on having a lcd also, but when I got home and had the two sets on I was like " damit it"

my wife didnt want to part with the lcd after she saw it.

I will check if it still is. They had the 1080p 420hz version for only 799. I will let you know later on today.
