Question about purchases on PSN - Blu-ray Forum

So my ps3 funked up and i had a few things downloaded to it, i have a new ps3 and wanted to see if I could get the variety pack for cod4 over to my new ps3, i dont want to pay for it again, is there a way i can just transfer it over, im using the same name on my new one and same account???? Sorry for the ignorant question

Yeah you go into the store and click in the upper right corner on purchase history, this will show everything that you have bought and you click on it to download again.

This is 100% correct, so long as you reactivate the same user account on the new unit.

is there a limit to the number of times you can re-download a purchase? just wondering for my own information, i am currently on my third PS3

thanks! hopefully it wont come to that, this one has outlasted the other two already, the real problem was i kept having to replay all my scores to try and get all my game data back for rock band, but thats no longer an issue since RB2 came out, things are lookin up!

yeah me and Petra were having this conversation the other day! Certain games won't allow you to copy save game data, but its understandable.
