A tensioning system is not necessary. Use simple machines to your advantage.
A simple bookend (or paperweight, or ANYTHING) would keep your cases standing upright. I personally just have the last one in the row tilted against the rest to keep them in line. |

This s what I have for my blu's. It's perfect because you can adjust the size

My wooden shelf cost a fraction of these shelfing units, was completely custom sized for my needs, and seems to have a storage capacity far surpassing these units.
It's not hard or expensive to build and stain one yourself, and you can make it exactly the dimensions/capacity that you need. Oh and wood grain is super classy styling 8) |

Go to Home Depot and buy some 1x4 inch planks that are like 8-10 feet or so, they cost something like $11 a length and are easy to cut, glue and nail together for as many Blu ray's as you like! And like the guy above said, you can stain it and it looks better then any of those crappy shelves they sell at Wal-mart and what not.

i am having space issues also just bought a new rack at WM but its not for my UFC/MMA DVDs... I have to large boards (dont know size, fit a DVD PERFECT) going around the wall of my room... they save space, look nice and were home made... i suck at the "manly" stuff such as this but maybe i will try to build to more as i dont like the racks on the floor.

I like this one that target has http://www.target.com/Avington-Books...e=1&rh=&page=1 , the wood color matches everything else in my living room, plus you can get some little easels that are meant to hold plates and use them to display your steelbooks. Targets furniture has soom quality it seems.
