Listen to this one! I'd also add "Revolutionary Road," "The Reader," "Gran Torino" and "Synecdoche, New York" as other options (although I've yet to see any of the previously-mentioned four I highly doubt they are as bad or worse than "Bride Wars" or "The Unborn."

the reader was great, catch that if you can. Was not to fond of Revolutionary Road other than the performances the story was bland to me. Yet to see Torino and Synecdoche, New York...but really want to.

I put a poll up of the films that I am interested in and playing at my local theatre. I wish "The Wrestler" was playing there.

Are you going to the Waterfront 22?

Frost/Nixon - entertaining with excellent performances from the two leads, but could have done without the When Harry Met Sally type interviews. - recommended

Four Christmases - moderately funny premise that was poorly excecuted - rental at best

Yes Man - funny Jim Carrey comedy, but if you've seen one before than this isn't anything new - rental

Those are the only ones I've seen although a few friends of mine have seen Valkyrie and like the movie, but thought that some of the performances could have been better.

If I had my choice it would be Slumdog Millionare with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button close behind.

similar choice in movies and also having a similar sense of humor in a relationship is grossly underrated

Our humor is some what the same, I am a bit more towards a vulgar sense of humor lol.

But when it comes to movies we have wanted to see the same ones, the only one she does not want to see with me is F/N and I didnt really want to see Valkeryie...but w/e!

Much better than my last relationship.

Wow, tough choice. I've seen Curious Case and Gran Torino and so I can recommend both of those movies. Clint was just plain awesome in Gran Torino. I got such a kick out of that movie.

You can scratch Marley and Me off the list and put the names of the rest of the films in a hat to determine what you should see. You can't go wrong with any of them.

What's your problem?

Don't even bother posting in this thread if you’re not going to contribute in a positive manner.

I voted for Gran Torino b/c that is the one I want to see the most off your list. I saw Slumdog and it was very good. My brother worked on Frost - Nixon, so I definitely want to see that one too, but Torino just seems like my cup of tea.

You can't go wrong with Gran Torino, Slumdog, or Benjamin Button. Haven't seen the others on your list. However, I voted for BB because this is a film that you need to see on the big screen
