Psycho (50th Anniversary) Blu-ray

Psycho Blu-ray Review

I'm sure we're quite a ways away from this Hitchcock classic being released on BR, especially since Universal just re-released the title as part of their "Legacy Collection". But can you imagine how it would look? Beautiful, I'm sure.

Any word on some other Hitchcock films getting the BR upgrade?

I just watched the new DVD upconverted & was pleased. I'm sure it'd fit in just fine on bluray.

I might be wrong about this, but I vaguely recall a mentioning of 'North by Northwest' (WB) on BD sometime in the future. Would be nice.

I would be all over most any Hitchcock on Blu-ray.

And I hate to be a stickler, but threads like this really need a question mark in the title or should be posted in the Wish Lists forum.

The plan for Universal was to release the Hitchcock pictures day and date with those dvds mentioned but that was when they were HD DVD only. I have a feeling we will be seeing lots of Hitchcock on Blu-ray in 2009...

Nothing against you, but I think Gus Van Sant needs to make an astounding number of great movies to atone for his travesty.

I hope someone hears you, I would love to see that movie on BLU RAY... I can imagine the scene of the shower.. the car skinking in the mud.. the end..

And Psycho would be a definite get, but truth be told I'd much rather see a release of Vertigo.

I understand THE BIRDS is being remade/redone/re-imagined-- WHATEVER!

hopefully it will be decent, spark some interest and then Universal will release some Hitchcock flicks on blu
